Requirement/Description
Role and Responsibilities:
• Candidate will be responsible for doing the customizations for the Atlassian Cloud Jira platform
• Develop interfaces/connectors with enterprise systems and services for various integration projects.
• Develop best coding/setup practices to support custom Jira workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, customized screens schemes, etc.
• Be responsible for writing custom plugins, managing existing plugins, evaluating, testing, and deploying new plugins to address user requirements.
• Experience in design, code development, and code maintenance experience with Jira - customizing JIRA projects, developing automation with post functions
• Candidate will be responsible for independently working on individual task assigned to him/her with defined timelines.
• Ensuring products/services owned by the candidate is successfully deployed during the Deployment window.
• Familiar with working on Agile framework and its methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, XP etc.
• Candidate should have excellent communication skills & a can do attitude towards work.
• Should be proactive enough to highlight any challenges or impediments to address it on priority basis during regular Standup meetings.
Technical Competency
• 5-8 years of experience in workign on Atlasian products. like Jira, Confleuence etc.
• Experience of working closely with Client team.
• Experience with JQL (Jira Query Language) and JSON
• Experience with building custom solutions and integrations with Jira Service Management and Jira Software
• Conceptual and practical understanding of Agile frameworks(Scrum, KanBan, XP), SAFe.
• Experience with private and public cloud architectures, pros/cons, and migration considerations
• 5+ years of hands on experience in programming languages such as Java 8, node.js, python, Unix shell/Python scripting etc.
• Experience in building algorithms and prototype
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Proficient with CI/CD, configuration & release management tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Github, SVN etc.
• Provide an efficient interface with various teams and provide appropriate technical support to all teams working on various platforms.
• Self motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment.
• BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience plus real passion to learn new technologies
