Role Name: JIRA Governance
Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 month
We are seeking an experienced JIRA Governance to manage, standardize, and optimize the JIRA platform across the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring governance, maintaining best practices, and supporting teams in effectively leveraging JIRA for project and workflow management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and enforce JIRA governance standards, policies, and best practices
• Administer and manage JIRA projects, workflows, schemes, and permissions
• Configure and customize JIRA to meet business and technical requirements
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the JIRA platform
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions
• Monitor platform performance and implement improvements
• Provide user support, training, and documentation for JIRA usage
• Manage integrations with other tools (e.g., Confluence, CI/CD tools, third-party apps)
• Conduct regular audits of JIRA usage and configurations
• Lead platform upgrades, migrations, and enhancements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong hands-on experience with JIRA administration (Cloud/Server/Data Center)
• Good understanding of JIRA workflows, schemes, and configurations
• Experience in defining governance frameworks and standards
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies
• Experience with JIRA integrations and plugins (e.g., ScriptRunner, Automation)
• Basic understanding of APIs and scripting (Groovy, REST APIs preferred)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
• Atlassian certifications (e.g., ACP-100, ACP-620)
• Experience in enterprise-level JIRA governance and standardization
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
• Experience working in large, cross-functional teams
