Job Description
Construct, assemble, and fix tooling and fixtures to support production.
Service and adjust dies to meet engineering changes and production needs.
Perform scheduled maintenance on tooling and use SAP for work orders.
Identify and resolve production problems to minimize downtime.
Conduct formability and circle grid analysis.
Use small machines and tools for die making.
Inspect dies for dimensions and alignment.
Oversee tryouts and launches of new die sets.
Keep accurate records of tooling and maintenance activities.
Work with engineering and production teams to improve processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
4-year apprentice trade certificate in Tool Making.
1-2 years in tool and die making.
Proficient in tooling fabrication and repair.
Experience with SAP or similar.
Familiar with CAD software.
Basic formability and circle grid analysis.
Skilled in operating relevant machines and tools.
Employment Details
Salary: $23.00HR - $25.00HR
Benefits: 40 Hours Weekly, Permanent, Fulltime, Onsite
Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour lunch break. Overtime and occasional weekend flexibility may be required.
