Accountant JD:

You will be managing the accounting tasks, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Following are the things we are looking for in an Accountant:-
• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information
• Document financial transactions by entering account information
• Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
• Secure financial information by completing database backups
• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
• Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
• Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Communicate effectively with clients
• Communicate with Manager and/or Director on work status and client issues that arise
Must have skills:
• Minimum 1 year experience working on SaaS platform like Zoho Books or Quickbooks
Preferred Qualification
• Inter CA
• Masters/Bachelor’s degree, preferably in commerce
• MBA in Finance would be Bonus
