Job Title: Junior Accountant
Location: Sewri, Mumbai
Position Type: Full-time
Overview:
We are seeking a Jr. Accountant who has at least 1-2 years of experience working in the accountant role. The ideal candidate should have basic understanding in accounts and accounting principles and a desire to grow and be an integral part of the team in coming years.
Responsibilities:
• Maintains daily accounting and assisting senior in maintaining various financial reports.
• Perform routine accounting tasks, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist in GST and TDS Returns preparations.
• Assist in preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
Qualifications:
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or equivalent working experience of at least 1 year in a CA firm.
• Understanding of TDS Returns.
• Understanding of filing GST Returns including GST Reconciliation.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Tally Prime.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others and communicate effectively.
