We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Event Designer to join our dynamic team! As an Event Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing visually stunning and immersive events that align with client objectives and brand identities. Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with clients to understand event goals, themes, and brand guidelines.
• Design event concepts, floor plans, décor schemes, and spatial layouts.
• Source and manage vendors, including florists, lighting specialists, and rental companies.
• Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, seating arrangements, and technical requirements (AV, staging, etc.).
• Create mood boards and presentations to pitch ideas to clients.
• Manage budgets and timelines while ensuring cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, production) to ensure seamless execution.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to deliver innovative designs.
• Conduct site visits and oversee event setup to ensure design integrity.
• Troubleshoot design-related challenges during planning and live events.
Qualifications:
• Experience in event design, production, or experiential marketing.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of event styles (corporate, social, nonprofit).
• Excellent project management and multitasking skills.
• Exceptional communication and client-facing abilities.
• Knowledge of event logistics, vendor management, and technical production.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes.
• Certification in event planning (e.g., CSEP) is a plus.
