Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Temp Jr. Accountant to join their dynamic team in the retail industry. This is a temp-to-hire position located in Chatsworth, CA, requiring on-site presence Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
• Provide support to the Controller, Senior Accountant, and AP/AR Manager.
• Handle various accounting tasks including data entry, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Utilize QuickBooks to manage and record transactions.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain records and documentation to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of accounting duties.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and a strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
