Role: Junior Accountant
We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team to assist in managing our day-to-day accounting operations.
Job Description:
• Knowledge and experience of recording and maintaining financial transactions including account payable, account receivable and journal entries.
• Adequate knowledge of reconciling bank & credit card statements.
• Be aware of GST Returns, PT, ESI, PF and calculating employee TDS along with maintenance of proper records.
• Proficient in MS Office applications especially in MS Excel & Word.
• Assist with month end and year end procedures and reporting.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements including cash flow statements & MIS Reporting.
• Basic understanding of Accounting, Costing and Tax related standards and compliances.
• Maintenance of trackers for budgets and other required MIS Reporting.
• Support in any Administrative works.
Requirements
• Masters/Graduation in Commerce, CA-Inter (preferred).
• 1-2 years of work experience in accounting.
• Fluency in English (both verbal and oral).
• SAP FICO end user level knowledge is preferred.
• Attention to detail.
Skills:
Good understanding of accounting and financial processes.
Good analytical and computer skills.
Good organizational skills.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
