Day-to-day Book keeping and TDS/GST and other statutory compliance work

Responsibilities

Day-to-day bookkeeping of all transactions on Zoho Books

Posting vendor bills, customer invoices with GST and any other statutory deductions

Reviewing bank statements for payments and receipts and following up with the clients for bills and supporting documents for accounting

Periodic bank, vendor and customer reconciliation for review by the clients

Assist in filing of GST and TDS returns.

Ensuring proper statements and back up workings are always available for all statutory payments like GST, TDS, etc.

Other Skills

Client and co-worker communication and coordination with internal and external teams

Have experience working with Zoho Books or any other online accounting software (like Quickbooks). Tally experience is not considered

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
