About the Internship:
We are seeking a talented and ambitious junior accountant to join our dynamic and innovative accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting senior accountants and contributing to the company's financial goals by assisting with various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of accounting principles and experience working with financial software.
Key responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with senior accountants in the preparation of financial statements
2. Manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely payments and collections
3. Record financial transactions accurately and timely, and maintain financial records in an orderly and systematic manner
4. Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures, and assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
5. Reconcile bank statements, and provide accurate and reliable financial information to stakeholders
6. Perform financial analysis, identify trends and variances, and provide recommendations for improvement
7. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and assist with audit preparations
8. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations
+. Support the accounting team in various ad hoc tasks, as required
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from a reputable institution
2. 1 year of experience in an accounting role, preferably in a similar industry
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles, and experience with financial software such as Tally
4. Excellent attention to detail, and ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively with other departments
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to think critically and identify trends and variances
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software, and ability to adapt to new technologies and systems
