Key Responsibilities
Prepare bank reconciliations, bank journal entries, credit cards transactions and bank deposits.
Process prepaid amortization and recording of fixed assets.
Prepare documents, process and reconcile internal and external accounts.
Manage accounting related documentation for any of the operations divisions.
Accounts payable processing.
What You Bring
One-year experience in a Junior Accountant role.
Post-secondary diploma/degree in Accounting preferred.
General knowledge of accounting and financial theories, practices, tax, legislation and resources.
Knowledge of accounting software, experience with Great Plains is preferred.
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of spreadsheets (MS Excel), data-based software, email and web browsers.
Ability to exercise tact and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
Effective communication skills and an ability to define and solve problems.
Skilled at data collection and analytics.
Ability to plan, organize, and effectively manage multiple priorities and demands.
