Role:

Selfdrive is looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances.

The ideal candidate needs to be well-versed in accounting standards & principles, able to work comfortably with numbers, Must have Professional level skills in creating & managing Excel & should have high attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for validating invoices issued to customers

• Scrutinize supplier invoices, keep record of the same and be responsible for processing payments

• Responsible for interacting with suppliers, providing payment updates and acting as single point of contact for resolving any queries

• Record entries related to customer collections & supplier payments as per the company’s policy

• Reconciling supplier Statement of Accounts as per agreed Turn Around Time

• Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports

• Assist in preparing management reports required for finance department and internal reporting

• Assist in bank account reconciliation.

• Responsible for any other day-to-day accounting tasks as assigned  Undertake any other specific duties assigned by the management.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or equivalent  Relevant experience as an Accountant.

• Experience in accounts receivable & accounts payable management

• Excellent knowledge of Accounting Software such as Tally, and Zoho Books & working knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Dynamic, charismatic, and enthusiastic personality

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English

• Professional level skills in creating & managing Excel

• Previous employment in a similar position handling accounting function

• Experience in E-commerce Platform & Rate-sheet Management is added advantage
