We are currently recruiting for a Client Accountant to join our client's reputable practice. This is a full-time permanent position situated in Ware. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual to learn the accounting trade whilst growing alongside the business.
Job Title: Junior Accountant
Salary: Up to £30,000 DOE
Location: Ware
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday – 8.30am-5:00pm

Key responsibilities:
• Preparation of year-end accounts for Micro entities and SME’s.
• Preparation and submission of client’s VAT returns.
• Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations and returns.
• Compiling and presenting reports, budgets, business plans for clients.
The ideal candidate will:
• Have accountancy practice experience which is essential for this role
• Proven knowledge in accounting principles & good technical knowledge.
• Experience with Xero is essential. Quickbooks & Free Agent preferable
• Must possess good organisational skills
• Good time management with ability to work to deadlines
