Job Purpose
The senior accountant will be responsible for tracking, monitoring and evaluating day-to-day accounting
tasks and activities. He has to take care of the various compliances and finalization of accounts.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Recording daily entries of sales and purchases in Accounting Software .
• Calculation and timely submission of G.S.T.,T.D.S. and Other legal and tax compliances.
• Accomplishing Bank reconciliation and online work on daily basis.
• Prepare, check and update the statutory compliances (PF/ ESIC etc).
• Client wise account reconciliation and statement verification.
• Audit of stock and Debtors ageing analysis on time-to-time basis.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports, statements and MIS.
• Working on to the vendor agreement, government portals for tender participation, as and when required.
• Preparation of E-way bills and coordinate with transporter and clients.
• Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
• Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year end.
Requisite Skills
• Computer literacy, MS Office and Tally / Accounting Software in particular.
• Understanding and knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and
• regulations.
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
• Administrative skills and ability to multi-task.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Good listening and reasoning skills.
