The Role:
We are seeking a junior accountant to join our front-office team. The role is ideally suited for someone who has recently graduated or who is looking for their next challenge this will be an amazing opportunity to gain high volume and varied experience.. Based in our City of London office the role is about helping our customers use our online Corporation Tax platform and self assessment, along with creating end of year accounts and CT returns for customers who need the managed filing service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work as part of the front office team
• Liaising with clients via email, phone and online chat
• Prepare annual accounts for small and Micro entities in FRS 105 and FRS 102
• Preparation of CT600 and computations
• Prepare SA100 returns
• Research & write monthly knowledge-based articles
• Keep up to date with changes to tax rules to ensure your knowledge is up-to-date
• Be involved in product development life-cycle
• Carry out system testing
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
• Strong written and verbal communications
• Good technology appreciation - comfortable with being in the tech space
• Degree in Business, Accounting & Finance or related
• Keen, enthusiastic and wanting to learn new skills
• Team Player
• Full training given
Nice to have:
• Accountancy qualification/part qualified (ACCA/ACA/Accounting) would be a bonus
