Job Description
We are seeking a creative and motivated Junior Architect and Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in both architectural design and interior design projects, contributing to the development of innovative spaces that meet the client’s needs and align with industry trends. You will work closely with senior team members on various stages of design, from concept development to project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Design:
Assist in developing architectural plans and drawings for residential, commercial, or institutional projects.
Collaborate with senior architects to refine design concepts and integrate client requirements.
Support the preparation of project documentation, including specifications and construction drawings.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure designs are being executed according to plan.
Interior Design:
Assist in designing interior layouts, selecting materials, and creating aesthetic spaces for various projects.
Develop mood boards, color schemes, and design concepts for interior spaces.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for interior spaces.
Research and source furniture, lighting, and decorative elements for projects.
Project Coordination:
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure project timelines and budgets are adhered to.
Prepare and present design proposals and progress reports to clients.
Assist in resolving any design-related issues that arise during the construction or installation phase.
Technical Skills:
Use CAD software (AutoCAD & SketchUp etc.) to create accurate design drawings and 3D models.
Create detailed drawings, renderings, and presentations for client proposals and internal reviews.
Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and new materials/technologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design.
Internship , Freshers or Experienced professionals can apply.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and other industry tools.
Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, and construction methods.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of building codes, sustainability practices, and interior design standards is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., Vray/Corona/ Lumion).
Personal Attributes:
