Job Description
As a Junior Architect at Horizon Architects & Interiors, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design and development of various architectural projects. You will work closely with senior architects and the design team to assist in creating detailed architectural plans, developing design concepts, and ensuring the successful execution of projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the development of architectural designs from concept through construction.
• Collaborate with senior architects and project teams to produce detailed architectural drawings and plans.
• Conduct research on building codes, materials, and technologies to support design development.
• Prepare 3D models and visualizations to communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Support the preparation of presentation materials and participate in client meetings.
• Assist in the coordination of project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and construction details.
• Work closely with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to ensure the project aligns with design intent and quality standards.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 1-2 years of professional experience in architectural design (internship experience considered).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant architectural software.
• Strong design and visualization skills, with experience in 3D modeling and rendering.
• Excellent understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and construction processes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
