We are hiring for a Junior Business Development / Account Manager - Life Science & Healthcare to join our Life Science Team. This is an amazing opportunity to accelerate innovation for our customers and identify creative solutions to meet their Life Science needs.
Working closely with a defined book of business you will manage your clients and their renewal business whilst identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities to grow your accounts..
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
• 3 to 5 years of sales experience in life sciences or SaaS
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
• Experience selling to Small to medium-sized businesses in Europe or EMEA
• Background in Business development looking to move into Account Management
• Knowledge of the Life Sciences/pharmaceutical industry
It would be great if you also have....
• A Life Science degree
• Knowledge of software/information solutions into the Pharmaceutical sectors a plus
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRMs
What will you be doing in this role?
• Support the growth of the EMEA SMB business renewal rates and new business
• Passionate about winning and focused on building relationships both internally and externally.
• Working towards being a Subject Matter Expert (SME) demonstrating domain expertise with a strong personal brand of experience, domain/solution/technical knowledge, and practical business applications.
• Drive exceptional revenue performance through hitting sales goals/KPI’s
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across Clarivate and ensure collaboration is delivered with a customer focus.
• Report accurate personal forecasting and performance metrics to your manager
• Provide excellent customer service and support for your territory
• Work as a team with your designated RAM to maximise all account opportunity.
About the Team
You will be working as part of a team of Digital Account Managers, Digital Acquisition Managers, Renewal Account Managers and Customer Success Managers covering the European region within our Life Sciences and healthcare segment
Hours of Work
This is a full-time permanent position based in London, UK and will require hybrid working in our Liverpool Street office (2-3 days per week in office, rest of week remote).
This position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours.
