As a Junior Credit Controller , you will play a key role in taking care of a portfolio of client accounts located in EMEA, North America and APAC. You will be responsible for contributing to the cash flow process and supporting the mitigation of risk by monitoring aged debt. The role provides credit control services to one or more Business Units, working closely with key sales representatives to support the financial objectives to maximise performance of collections, reduce and maintain overdue debt at acceptable levels and minimise each business unit's bad debt and provisions.

What you will do:
• Process incoming payments and clarify discrepancies with customers.
• Make sure payments happen in full and on time – prioritising the settlement of old debt, resolving disputes & account queries, negotiating and managing payment plans.
• In line with our dunning workflow, you will send customers to collections as necessary.
• Answer and clarify any customer questions relating to the payment process within 48h SLA
• Respond to internal finance requests through a ticketing system called Jira.
• Support the month-end close and reporting process.
• Communicate closely with Commercial and Sales teams to ensure invoice disputes are resolved.
• Raising credit note requests and working closely with the billing team
What you will have:
• Mandatory - A relevant bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1 year or more of relevant experience
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills
• Experience working with common ERP & billing systems (experience with Zone advance Billing and/or NetSuite is preferred)
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• An analytical mindset with a desire to fulfil tasks in a detail-oriented way.
• An outgoing personality, with a love for proactively tackling problems.
• The ability to communicate with colleagues and customers from all over the world.
