Job Description
A Fashion Designer / Merchandiser with a minimum experience of 1+ years of experience in Women’s wear.
• Demonstrate acumen in working on development projects for women’s wear (western, casuals, evening & ethnic wear) along with senior designer.
• Experience in managing sampling as per senior designer’s requirement.
• Source fabric / trims / etc as per the requirement of the designer.
• Create design cards and techpack for final submission of the styles post selection.
• Write descriptions and attributes of the styles for listing the products on website.
CORE COMPETENCIES
• Excellent communication skill is a must.
• Coordinate with the sampling team to develop a product to meet the brief.
• Ensure timely delivery of the samples.
• Acquiring a clear understanding of brands' businesses and requirements.
• Pro-active and able to show initiative to constantly improve the product experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe, InDesign, Illustrator.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Previous experience in fashion or retail industry is a plus
