Role: Junior Designer – Visual & Spatial (Art, Interiors & Cultural Projects)
We are looking for a Designer – Visual & Spatial who can think beyond surfaces—someone who understands how art inhabits space. This role sits at the intersection of interior styling, spatial design, and visual communication, and is ideal for someone who wants to work with art not just as an object, but as an experience within environments. You will be working on gallery walls, interiors, installations, and visual narratives, shaping how traditional Indian art is placed, perceived, and experienced in modern contexts.

Salary: Rs. 30-35K INR per month
Location: Remote/ Gurgaon preferred
Assignment:
1. Choose Aesthetics (4–6): Pick 3:Indian Traditional, Indian Modern, Biophilic/ Organic, Minimal/Japandi, Chettinad, Bohemian, Indo-European/Colonial, Maximalist Indian
2. Select Artworks: Choose relevant artworks from the MeMeraki website for each aesthetic.(One or multiple per style)
3. Create Mockups: Make a mockup of a spatial setup (room, wall, corner) placing the selected artwork(s).
4. Mood + NotesFor each aesthetic, include:
A mini moodboard (colors/ materials/ textures, references)
A short note (100–150 words) explaining:
• Why the artwork fits
The mood/story you’re creating
• What We’re Looking For
• Understanding of Indian art & aesthetics
• Spatial and visual sensibility
• Original, thoughtful pairings

Job Description
Spatial Design & Art Curation (Core Focus)
• Design art placements within interiors—homes, offices, hospitality, and public spaces
• Create gallery wall compositions and large-scale spatial layouts
• Develop moodboards and material palettes that integrate art into contemporary environments
• Visualise installations, murals, and exhibition formats with a strong sense of scale and proportion
• Contribute to styling and staging of artworks for shoots, exhibitions, and client walkthroughs
Concept & Narrative Building
• Translate briefs into cohesive visual and spatial concepts
• Build refined presentations and concept decks for client-facing projects
• Craft visual narratives that balance cultural authenticity with contemporary design language
Execution & Detailing
• Prepare scaled layouts, artwork specifications, and print-ready files for installations
• Work across large-format applications—walls, panels,
signage, exhibition graphics
• Ensure precision in colour, scale, and material translation from concept to execution
Digital & Brand Extensions
• Design select digital assets (campaigns, collections, editorial visuals)
