Job Title: Junior Fashion Designer (Fresh Graduate) Location: India (Remote) Company: Astre D'orr - Luxury Fashion Brand Type: Contract Requirement: Fresh Graduates or less than a year of experience Pay: ₹14,000 - ₹1+,000/month + Performance Bonus Position Summary: Astre D'orr is seeking a Fashion Designer to join our luxury fashion brand. This is an excellent opportunity for budding designers to gain hands-on experience and contribute to a rapidly growing luxury brand. Key Responsibilities: Assist in creating innovative fashion designs aligned with the brand's luxury aesthetics. Support design execution and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as pattern makers and merchandisers. Conduct research on seasonal trends, fabrics, colors, and textiles to inform design development. Contribute to fabric sourcing, trims, and the creation of technical packs for collections. Utilize design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CLO 3D, etc., to bring concepts to life. Maintain agility and speed in creating design concepts while ensuring precision and attention to detail. Guide and oversee fashion design interns, assign tasks, and ensure workflow efficiency. Conduct market and trend research to stay updated on fashion innovations, materials, and consumer preferences. Work closely with the founders, design, and marketing teams to align creative direction with business goals. Technical Skills & Requirements: Degree in Fashion/Apparel Design. More than one year of experience in fashion design is acceptable. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), CLO 3D, and other relevant design tools. Strong sketching and technical design skills. Quick and agile in creating designs under tight deadlines. Research skills for trend analysis and fabric/texture exploration. Strong attention to detail, creativity, and understanding of garment construction. Collaborative and effective communication skills.
