Our client, a dynamic and growing organization, is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Junior HR Generalist & Recruitment Assistant to support their Human Resources department. This role is based in the bustling city of Mumbai, Maharashtra, IN , and offers a hybrid work model, blending office-based collaboration with remote flexibility. You will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, with a primary focus on assisting with the recruitment process from sourcing candidates to onboarding new employees.
Responsibilities include posting job openings on various platforms, screening resumes, and conducting initial candidate phone screenings. You will assist in scheduling interviews, coordinating with hiring managers, and maintaining candidate databases using HRIS or ATS systems. This role also involves supporting the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, employment contracts, and new hire orientation materials. You will assist with employee record management, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of HR documentation. Supporting employee relations initiatives, HR policy implementation, and administrative tasks such as benefits administration inquiries will also be part of your duties. Contributing to HR projects and initiatives, and helping to foster a positive employee experience are key objectives. Maintaining strong communication with candidates and internal stakeholders is essential.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. 0-2 years of experience in an HR or recruitment support role. Fresher with relevant internships will be considered. Familiarity with HR principles and employment laws. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with HRIS or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
