We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles, technical proficiency, and effective project management skills to create beautiful and functional spaces. Key Responsibilities:
(a) Design Development:
· Collaborate with senior designers to determine project requirements and preferences.
· Conceptualize and develop innovative design solutions tailored to project requirements for internal review.
· Create detailed design plans, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings if required.
· Balance aesthetics and functionality to deliver exceptional design outcomes.
(b) Space Planning:
· Analyze and optimize the layout of interior spaces for maximum efficiency and flow.
· Ensure designs are ergonomic, well-lit, and acoustically sound.
· Develop plans that enhance both usability and visual appeal.
(c) Material and Finish Selection:
· Research and curate a selection of materials, finishes, and furnishings.
· Prepare material boards and samples for internal reviews and approvals.
· Stay informed about the latest industry trends and innovative products.
(d) Technical Proficiency:
· Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop for detailed drawings and renderings.
· Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
· Ensure all designs meet relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
· Prepare furniture detail drawings for the manufacturing process.
(e) Team Collaboration:
· Collaborate with fellow designers and team members to brainstorm and develop design ideas.
· Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall creative direction.
