Job Description
Engart Interiors is seeking a motivated and creative Junior Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Interior Designer, you will work closely with our senior designers and collaborate with architects and engineers to bring our clients' visions to life. You will be responsible for creating detailed drawings, interior plans, and designs for residential and commercial spaces. Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D Max is essential for this role, along with a passion for interior design and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare Detailed Drawings: Utilize AutoCAD, Sketch up, Vray and 3D Max to create detailed drawings of entire homes, kitchens, offices, and other interior spaces based on the measurements, photographs, and videos provided by the engineers.
• Interior Planning and Design: Work with senior designers to develop interior plans and designs that align with the client's vision and project requirements.
• Kitchen Design: Create innovative and functional kitchen designs, considering layout, cabinetry, appliances, lighting, and other elements.
• Furniture Design: Collaborate with the design team to develop custom built-in furniture designs that complement the overall interior design concept.
• Material Selection: Assist in selecting appropriate materials, finishes, colors, and furnishings to enhance the aesthetic and functionality of interior spaces.
• Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their preferences, needs, and budget constraints, and present design concepts effectively.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design presentations, mood boards, and specifications.
• Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, and design techniques to bring fresh ideas and concepts to projects.
Qualifications
• Passion for in Interior Design and a Bachelor's degree will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch up, Vray and 3D Max for creating detailed drawings and 3D visualisations.
• Strong design skills and creativity.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, remotely and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a passion for precision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Time management skills and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Vray, 3D Max and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software is a plus
