Junior Merchandiser- Fashion Industry- Bangalore (Karnataka)

We are seeking a motivated and organized Junior Merchant to assist the merchandising and production teams in managing the day-to-day operations of apparel product development The role involves handling documentation costing coordination barcoding and vendor follow-ups to ensure smooth production flow and timely deliveries Key Responsibilities Manage file handovers between design development and production teams Support in costing cost closure and order finalization Coordinate bar code generation and SKU creation for new styles Follow up with vendors suppliers and factories for sampling production and dispatch updates Track production timelines and update internal T A Time Action sheets Maintain organized records of tech packs approvals and order sheets Assist senior merchants in style allocation material tracking and shipment follow-up Prepare and update MIS reports related to product and vendor performance Key Skills Competencies Good understanding of fashion merchandising and apparel production cycles Strong coordination and communication skills with vendors and internal teams Proficiency in MS Excel Google Sheets and ERP systems Attention to detail accuracy and time management A proactive and team-oriented approach Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Fashion Merchandising Apparel Production Textile Management or Commerce 1-2 years of experience in fashion merchandising production or sourcing preferred Preferred Background Experience with women s wear men s wear or fashion export houses Familiarity with fabric types trims and basic garment costing Job Type Full time Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Work Location In person
