Living Properties Inc. (“LPI”) is an established property management company with roots going back to 1983. LPI manages a wide portfolio of properties including residential and commercial condominiums buildings, freehold single-family homes (e.g., detached, towns, semis, apartments), and commercial properties including retail, industrial and office) across the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a motivated and proactive team memember to assist with managing residential and/or commercial properties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in property management. You'll receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced professionals in the field.
A successful candidate will:
have limited License (CMRAO) or “entry level” license
fluency in English; Chinese speaking preferred but not necessary.
have 0-5 years of experience in property management
be a team player
have strong analytical skills
strong time-management skills
skilled in negotiation and project management
excellent Customer Service skills
detailed oriented, organized and have strong time management skills
demonstrates flexibility sound judgement;
be dependable and take initiative.
ability to establish strong relationships with owners, vendors, coworkers etc.
excellent computer skills
Preference will be given to candidates with a bachelor’s degree in the STEM fields (i.e., engineering) from a Canadian or American University.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Address residents/tenants enquiries with courtesy and professionalism.
Conduct property inspections and prepare reports
Help with lease administration, renewals, and move-ins/move-outs
Support rent collection and track delinquencies
Coordinate with vendors and service providers
Communicate with tradesperson and coordinate work orders.
Summarize and provide updates to our clients (property owners) about matters related to their properties.
Review and summarize contracts for Senior Property Manager.
Maintain accurate records and assist with monthly reporting
Prepare packages for Board Members.
Prepare notices as needed.
Respond to emergency situations in timely manner.
Other duties as assigned from time to time.
