Job Description
This role supports the Risk and Dealing function and plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth and compliant delivery of FP Markets’ trading products. You will actively manage market and client risk, oversee trading operations, and ensure platform stability, while working closely with internal teams, Prime Brokers, and technology providers.
Reporting to: Risk & Dealing Manager
Responsibilities:
Monitor trading platforms, ensure smooth operations, and troubleshoot issues
Manage market and client risk, including margin calls, liquidations, and hedging with Prime Brokers
Execute client orders, support the dealing desk, and authorise trades in line with compliance policies
Facilitate short selling, stock lending, and review post-trade alerts
Reconcile payments, manage client account funding, and conduct operational checks
Complete daily account procedures and handovers, overseeing information flow across front, middle, and back office systems
Liaise with Prime Brokers, technology providers, and internal teams
Support product development projects
Address client queries via phone, email, and chat
Candidate profile:
Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
High attention to detail
Strong numerical and verbal skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Flexible, proactive, and able to make sound decisions independently
Willingness to work shifts and flexible hours as required (the shift may start at 7:00, 8:00 or 8:30)
Experience in a risk, dealing, trading operations, or brokerage environment will be considered an advantage
