About this Opportunity
We are looking for an inspiring and innovative Junior School Class Teacher (P-6) at Redlands who fosters diversity, collegiality, and professional growth. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, skilled in curriculum differentiation, and proficient in integrating technology into teaching. They will prioritise student wellbeing, create a supportive learning environment, and actively share knowledge and best practices. Additionally, they must ensure professional compliance, support school policies, and deliver quality teaching experiences that develop students into extraordinary learners.
About you
We are looking for a Junior School Class that has the following knowledge, experience and qualifications:
· Completed tertiary studies in Education
· Have a clear NSW Working with Children Check
· Strong understanding of all NSW Syllabus documents
· Ability to differentiate learning successfully
Successful applicants will have the following competencies:
· A demonstrated high level of competence in classroom teaching
· Proven interpersonal qualities and skills necessary for close cooperation with members of staff, parents, students and other members of the school community.
· Proven ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic organisation
· Expertise in teaching in relevant curriculum areas
· Knowledge of effective teaching strategies to develop thinking and learning skills and to support lifelong learning
· Skill in meaningfully integrating technologies to redefine teaching and learning
· Possess self-motivation, creative endeavour and a willingness to accept responsibility
· Be proactive and show initiative
· Possess strong written, verbal, technology and communication skills
