About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior SEO Executive with 1–2 years of experience to join our digital marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who understands SEO fundamentals and is eager to contribute to driving organic growth. You will work closely with senior SEO specialists to implement strategies, optimize content, and monitor performance across a variety of websites, including local business and e-commerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor on-page SEO strategies, including keyword optimization, meta tags, headings, and internal linking.
Conduct technical SEO audits and recommend fixes to improve site performance, crawlability, and indexing.
Manage off-page SEO activities such as link building, outreach, and brand mentions.
Execute local SEO strategies, including Google Business Profile optimization and local citations.
Optimize e-commerce SEO elements such as product pages, category structures, and schema markup.
Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap identification.
Track, analyze, and report on SEO performance using analytics and tracking tools.
Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed.
Required Skills:
1–2 years of hands-on experience in SEO, covering On-page SEO, Technical SEO, Off-page SEO, Local SEO, and E-commerce SEO.
Familiarity with AI-powered tools like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Perplexity for research and content assistance.
Basic design skills in Canva for creating SEO-friendly visuals.
Strong command of Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides for reporting and presentations.
Understanding of SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Screaming Frog.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or related field (Plus).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
