Position Summary:
We’re seeking a motivated Junior Staff Accountant to support our full-cycle accounting and tax compliance operations. This role offers hands-on experience across a broad range of financial accounting and reporting responsibilities, making it ideal for an early-career professional eager to grow in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Record financial transactions, prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations and high-level analysis to ensure accurate ledgers.
Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly bank deliverables.
Prepare or facilitate the preparation of sales, income, franchise and property tax filings. Ensure timely and accurate remittances.
Serve as a point of contact with external stakeholders such as banking partners, CPA firms, auditors, and government agencies.
Support the development of internal control policies and contribute to process improvements, system upgrades, and operational strategies
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1–2 years of experience in general ledger accounting, Accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, tax or other relevant field.
Familiarity with accounting principles, tax concepts, and internal control frameworks.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH formulas and PivotTables.
Strong communication skills with a focus on cross functional collaboration.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and timely execution.
