The Opportunity:
IMP Group is searching for a Junior Systems Analyst to join our Information Technology department. What You Will Do:
Collaborate and provide support to internal customers and senior members of the Application Software team to assess current systems and user needs.
Participate in analyzing existing business processes, evaluating both technical and business suitability and identifying areas of improvement and propose potential solution options.
Interview clients and gather information to understand their business objectives and priorities.
Develop project scope of work documents and project plans that include an analysis, requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
Oversee and/or perform various tasks throughout the development life cycle which includes (but are not limited to): process design, system design, software configuration, testing, troubleshooting, user documentation/training and upgrading.
Work closely with clients and team to develop documentation of business requirements and business processes.
Configure ERP, HR systems, time and attendance and other large business software systems to meet client needs.
Maintain confidentiality of information being processed or accessed.

What You Need to Succeed:
BEng, BSc or equivalent certificate from a recognized institution preferred. Equivalent practical experience considered.
Ability to pass relevant government security clearances (Security clearance request process - Canada.ca)
Demonstrate professionalism through communication (written and oral) and overall conduct.
Strong analytical skills, adaptable and quick learner.
Knowledge of Business Process Re-engineering and Agile Project Management methodologies considered an asset.
Experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP Suite or other similar ERP Suite considered an asset.
