Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Interior Designer to manage the daily operations of our furniture store in Hyderabad. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, understands interior aesthetics, and has a solid grasp of furniture materials and retail management, Representing our brand, responsible for guiding customers, maintaining organised inventory and documentation, and ensuring smooth coordination with suppliers and logistics partners.

Customer Interaction & Sales
• Engage with walk-in customers, understand their requirements, and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Clearly explain furniture materials, design choices, and customization options.
Store & Inventory Management
• Maintain and update material inward/outward registers.
• Monitor stock levels and work with the procurement team to replenish inventory.
• Generate and manage documents like Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) and Material Issue Notes.
Vendor & Logistics Coordination
• Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and transport partners to ensure timely deliveries and dispatches.
• Resolve any supply chain issues proactively.
Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain clear, organized records of invoices, receipts, and internal reports.
• Ensure all documentation is accurately filed and stored for easy access and audits.
Product Knowledge & Material Expertise
• Have a strong understanding of raw materials used in furniture (wood types, finishes, fabrics, etc.).
• Keep up to date with new trends, materials, and technologies in interior design and furniture.
Store Presentation
• Ensure the showroom is clean, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with current visual merchandising standards.
• Regularly update displays to highlight new arrivals and bestsellers.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Furniture Design, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in interior design or retail furniture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - must be fluent in English and Telugu/Hindi.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel), with the ability to manage documentation digitally.
• Must be based in Hyderabad or willing to relocateBonus Skills (Preferred but not mandatory):
• Experience working with interior design software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, etc.)
• Previous work in high-end or custom furniture stores.
• Knowledge of billing software or inventory management tools.
