About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate, community-minded Registered Social Worker to join our Kahu Taurima team at The Fono in Mangere. This role supports Pacific families in South Auckland (Counties Manukau), working alongside parents and children from pregnancy to age five.
You will assess whānau needs, offer support, and connect families with the right services, like WINZ, Kāinga Ora, or mental health providers. You'll also visit homes, support at appointments, and provide culturally respectful advice.
What you will need:
A social work qualification and SWRB registration.
Experience working with Pacific families, early intervention and community work.
A clean police check and a full New Zealand Driver's Licence.
Confident using Microsoft 365 and open to learning new systems.
Strong people skills and a heart for Pacific communities.
Fluency in a Pacific language is a bonus.
