Calling Passionate ECE Kaiako to Join Our Favona Kindergarten Learning Community!
Favona Kindergarten, part of Ngā Tamariki Puāwai o Tāmaki | Auckland Kindergarten Association (AKA), is seeking a qualified and experienced ECE Kaiako to join our vibrant hapori for a permanent part-time role (32.5 hours per week).
At Favona Kindergarten:

Our curriculum reflects our bicultural practice and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is guided by Te Whāriki, the national early childhood curriculum.
We believe in the magic of play: Our spacious and well-resourced learning environment encourages tamariki to explore, discover, and learn through child - led play experiences.
Nature is our playground: We enjoy a beautiful outdoor space that fosters curiosity, exploration, encourages kaitiakitanga and a connection with the natural world.
We are seeking a kaiako who:
Possesses an ECE teaching qualification, registration, with current first aid certificate and Child Protection certificate
Confidently builds learning focused partnerships with tamariki, whānau, and colleagues.
Is a collaborative team player who brings positivity, energy, and an open mind to learning.
Activley participates in pedagogical discussions, reflective practice and internal evaluation
Demonsrates strong assessment, planning and evaluation skills
Values the learning environment and weaves sustainability into their teaching practice.
