Job Description

Lead project development and delivery by coordinating multi-agency working groups and fostering collaboration among nine landscape boards and partners.
">
Support General Managers and Board Chairs with timely advice and information, actioning priority tasks, generating opportunities for strategic discussions, and collaboration.
">
Develop and maintain productive relationships at a regional, state, and national level, including with Chairs and General Managers of landscape boards, relevant government and non-government agencies, sector and industry peak bodies, and key stakeholders within and beyond the NRM sector.
">
Actively contribute to statewide strategic planning and policy development.
">
Coordinate Landscape Board Chairs' Forums and General Managers' meetings.
">
Organize and support meetings to drive strategic discussions, collaboration, and alignment across landscape boards.
">
Produce timely communications and provide advice to ensure key government policies, strategic direction, and operational reforms are implemented.

Provide strategic leadership and management to a small team.
">

Required Skills and Qualifications
">
">
A strong understanding of landscape boards functions, the Landscape South Australia Act 201+, and regulatory environments.
">
Ability to interpret and apply legislation to provide strategic and operational solutions.
">
Experience in project management, including leading multi-agency projects to develop policies and implement outcomes.
">
Leadership experience working with diverse stakeholders and different perspectives.
">
Experience making critical decisions that guide strategic direction.
">
A high level of understanding of changing state and national political contexts as they apply to natural resource management.
">
Desirable: A degree or equivalent in law, policy, management, administration, Natural Resource Management, Sustainable Agriculture, or similar fields.
