Responsibilities:
Food Preparation Assistance: Assist kitchen staff in preparing ingredients, including washing, peeling, cutting, and chopping fruits, vegetables, and other food items. Follow standardized recipes and portion sizes under the guidance of the chef or kitchen supervisor.
Cooking Support: Support cooks and chefs during food preparation and cooking processes, including grilling, frying, baking, and sautéing. Monitor cooking times and temperatures, rotate food items, and assist with plating and garnishing dishes.
Dishwashing and Cleaning: Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans by hand or using dishwashing equipment. Ensure that all items are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including countertops, sinks, and storage areas.
Inventory Management: Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies, ingredients, and kitchen equipment. Check inventory levels, report shortages or discrepancies to supervisors, and help with restocking shelves and storage areas as needed.
Assistance with Food Service: Assist in setting up food service stations, buffets, and dining areas. Serve food to customers, refill beverage stations, and assist with clearing tables and cleaning dining areas during and after service.
Food Safety Compliance: Adhere to food safety protocols, hygiene standards, and sanitation guidelines at all times. Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination, foodborne illnesses, and safety hazards in the kitchen.
Trash Disposal: Collect and dispose of kitchen trash and recyclables in designated receptacles. Keep trash disposal areas clean and free of debris to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.

Requirements:
