Job Description
Are you looking for a set schedule? Are you handy in the kitchen? Do you find joy in preparing and serving healthy food? If so we are, Grove-R Daycare and Preschool located in Harvey, Michigan, and we are looking for you!
We provide 2 meals and 2 snacks each day to the children in our care.
You need to be available Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 1:30 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of meals and snacks each day
- Follow provided recipes and pre-planned menus
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of food items
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
-Cleaning up after each meal and snack. This includes wiping tables & chairs and sweeping floors.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils, including knives and cutting boards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks sim
