We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in providing exceptional food service. Duties
Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
Support kitchen staff in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
Handle food safety procedures and proper food handling practices
Operate POS systems for order processing and cashiering tasks
Provide friendly customer service to guests, while answering the phone or in-person
Support with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Ensure timely service by managing time effectively during busy hours
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is an asset
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
Ability to work well in a team environment under fast-paced conditions
Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus
Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
