Full Time across a 24/7 Rotating Roster
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Kitchen Stewarding Supervisor to support stewarding operations across multiple kitchens and food & beverage outlets at Crown Sydney.
Reporting to the Stewarding Manager, you will lead large, diverse teams to maintain exceptional hygiene, safety and presentation standards throughout all back‑of‑house kitchen areas. This is a highly operational role requiring strong knowledge of cleaning systems, machinery and chemicals, paired with confident on‑floor leadership in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise stewarding operations across multiple kitchens and outlets, ensuring consistent hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Lead, roster and support stewarding teams to ensure effective coverage and performance.
Oversee safe and compliant use of cleaning chemicals, machinery and equipment.
Implement and maintain detailed cleaning schedules aligned with food safety and HACCP standards.
Conduct risk assessments and proactively manage WHS and compliance requirements.
Maintain a strong on‑floor presence during peak periods and support operational demands.
Partner closely with culinary and operational teams to ensure seamless daily service.
About You
You are a proactive and organised hospitality professional who leads from the floor and sets clear expectations. You take pride in maintaining high standards and creating safe, efficient work environments.
You will also bring:
Availability FT across a 24/7 rotating roster
Hotel or large‑scale hospitality stewarding experience (preferred)
Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene standards and HACCP
Experience with rostering, training, cleaning chemicals and machinery desireable
Confident team leadership, delegation and communication skills
Strong time management in a fast‑paced environment
