Job Title: Childcare Kitchenhand
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Childcare Kitchenhand. The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality food services in a childcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare healthy meals and snacks for children under the guidance of our experienced cooks;
Assist with meal plating, service, and routine cleaning in the kitchen;
Ensure the safe and hygienic preparation of all foods within the centre;
Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and staff members.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
A Food Handling Certificate and Food Supervisor Certificate;
Preference may be given to candidates holding a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care;
Current and valid Working with Children Check;
First Aid and CPR certificates, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training;
Experience in dietary and allergy-safe requirements.
