Tradewind Recruitment is seeking to appoint a KS1 Primary Teacher on behalf of a progressive and inclusive 2-form entry school located in the borough of Sutton. This London-based primary school is looking for a qualified teacher to cover a Year 1 class for the remainder of the academic year. As the role starts early in the school year, it will involve some planning responsibilities.
About the role:
• Prepare and deliver engaging KS1 lessons
• Implement effective and appropriate behaviour management strategies
• Collaborate with the Classroom TA to ensure lessons are impactful and tailored to individual needs
• Differentiate learning materials to cater to all pupils
• Attend weekly staff meetings and contribute to the school's development
Requirements:
• Must have UK-recognised QTS
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
• A positive and ambitious approach to teaching
• A commitment to upholding and contributing to the school's ethos
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues, children, and external agencies
• Must be available full-time and long-term from October
