At this wonderful Primary School in Waltham Forest, London, we're looking for a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their team from April 2026. The role will initially be a contract until July 2026, with the potential to transition into a permanent contract in September 2026. We're searching for a teacher who can ignite curiosity and foster imagination in children aged 5-7. About the Role: Position: KS1 Teacher Location: Waltham Forest, London Start Date: April 2026 Contract: Until July 2026, with the potential for a permanent role from September 2026 Salary: £130 - £260 per day (depending on experience) Full-time Position TLRs available for the right candidate Onsite parking available Must hold QTS
Key Responsibilities: Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons across the full KS1 curriculum Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels safe, valued, and motivated to learn Assessing and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them grow Collaborating with KS1 colleagues to maintain consistent delivery of lessons and curriculum content Encouraging students to develop a love for learning, fostering curiosity, and enhancing critical thinking skills
