Job Description :
• Collect, label, and prepare samples for analysis or testing, ensuring proper handling to maintain sample integrity.
• Follow established protocols for sample storage and preservation.
• Assist in performing experiments and tests under the guidance of a supervisor or senior scientist.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
• Operate laboratory equipment and instruments, including calibrating and maintaining them as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues with laboratory equipment.
• Record experimental data and observations accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in analyzing data and preparing reports or documentation of findings.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Follow guidelines for the proper disposal of hazardous materials and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies and reagents.
• Track usage of materials and ensure that supplies are replenished as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of experiments, procedures, and results.
• Prepare reports and summaries of laboratory activities and findings as required.
• Work collaboratively with other lab staff, researchers, and professionals to support lab activities.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any issues, findings, or updates.
• Assist in training new lab personnel or interns in laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
• Provide support to researchers and scientists as needed.
• Ensure that all procedures and practices are consistent with quality control standards.
• Assist in conducting quality assurance checks and maintaining lab standards.
