LABELING SPECIALIST
This job can EITHER be on site in Trumbull, CT OR Houston, TX
We are seeking an experienced Labeling Specialist to join a dynamic medical device organization. In this role, you will be responsible for the creation, management, and maintenance of product labeling in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop, revise, and maintain product labels, inserts, and packaging artwork in accordance with FDA, ISO, and applicable international regulations
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Marketing, and R&D to ensure labeling accuracy and compliance
• Manage labeling change control processes and maintain documentation within the quality management system
• Review and approve labeling proofs and coordinate with external print vendors
• Support new product launches and lifecycle management activities related to labeling
• Ensure labeling consistency and adherence to brand and regulatory standards
QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of labeling experience within the medical device industry (required)
• Strong working knowledge of FDA labeling regulations (21 CFR) and ISO 15223 symbols
• Experience with label change control and document management systems
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
PREFERRED SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE
• Adobe InDesign and the Adobe Creative Suite
• BarTender label design software
• LabelView
