Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team.
• Supervises and coordinates laboratory testing and analysis, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Ensures the accuracy and reliability of test results by implementing quality control measures.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures for laboratory operations, including safety protocols and waste management.
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals to develop and implement clinical laboratory services that meet patient needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conducts various medical tests and analyzes specimens to aid in diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
• Performs and interprets blood counts, coagulation times, and other laboratory tests as required.
• Handles and processes biological samples, maintaining accurate records of sample handling and storage.
• Provides technical assistance and training to laboratory staff on new equipment and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Technical skills: Proficiency in laboratory information systems, proficiency in computer software and hardware.
• Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
• Leadership skills: Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
