Job Description :
We are looking for NABL lab in charge to join our growing team. The person should work independently as per the below mentioned job responsibility.
Candidate should have core expertise in meter testing, product validation as per tender different requirements and applicable standards.
Strong knowledge of metering standards and compliance requirements like IS 15+5+, 16444, 1377+ with latest amendments. Knowledge on handling of factory acceptance test for product is must for this position.
Knowledge on test bench maintenance will be added advantage.
Responsibilities :
• Independently handle the customer inspection activities of smart meters, its standard compliance matrix, DLMS Protocol testing and capable to execute Internal External Lab testing within the time-lines.
• Conduct laboratory tests, analyse results, and document the findings and provide feedback.
• Ability to test and validate the communication modules for smart meters, DCU, understand the technologies used in smart meter communication as per IS 16444.
• Independently handle factory acceptance test. Prepare test plan and execute.
• Document all activities, results and report to management.
• Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation related to NABL process.
• Prepare and maintain all necessary documents related to customer inspection and factory acceptance test.
• Work in cross-functional team and provide feedback.
Requirements :
• Minimum diploma in electrical / electronics.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in meter validation.
• Should have knowledge on various applicable standards related to SMART meter.
• Should able to understand product requirement / customer requirement / GTP (GURANTEED TECHNICAL PARTICULARS).
• Should have worked in NABL laboratory / having knowledge on requirements of NABL laboratory.
