What's on offer?
We currently have a vacancy for a Laboratory Supervisor to join our team at Fulton Hogan based at our Kembla Grange site.
The successful candidate will be responsible supervising and managing our teams responsible for the testing of asphalt and aggregate to relevant standard methods in our Kembla Grange and Wagga Wagga NATA Accredited Laboratories. Reporting to the Laboratory Manager your responsibilities will include but not limited to;
Supervision of laboratory staff at Kembla Grange and Wagga Wagga
Staff rostering to cover night and day shifts
Review of test reports
Management of reporting, record keeping and calibrations including reporting non-conforming product.
Maintain the laboratory in accordance with NATA requirements.
Providing technical support to production departments.
Review of asphalt mix designs to maintain quality
Sampling and testing asphalt, aggregates and bitumen including onsite sampling.
The hands-on, day-to-day management of sampling and testing in accordance with specified requirements.
The handling and management of chemicals in line with relevant safety standards
Manage the safety of the laboratory and maintain good housekeeping of laboratory and surrounds.
Travel will be required, based on the needs of the business.
Working nightshifts may be required
