Join Labcorp as a Laboratory Technician Apprentice to develop lab skills in a dynamic environment.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
• Developing laboratory skills while working towards a Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship with HNC in Applied Science.
• Maintaining multi-disciplinary laboratories, including equipment calibration, cleaning, and autoclaving.
• Handling controlled documentation and working to GMP regulatory guidelines.
• Participating in on-the-job training and structured learning one day a week.
• Working within the BioPharmCMC department in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
About You
Candidates should possess:
• A passion for science and a willingness to learn.
• An A-level in Biology or Chemistry is preferred but not essential.
• Relevant work experience or a Level 3 science-based qualification is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Great attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Time management and prioritization skills.

Training & Development
• Undertake a Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship over 24 months.

Career Progression
Option to progress to a Level 5 or Level 6 Degree qualification or beyond to a Master's Qualification.
