Spaar Inc. is recruiting for experienced Labourers. We primarily work with residential new builds, single family homes, and apartment buildings; providing service to roughly 1800 houses a year. This full-time position is based in Calgary. Hours of work fluctuate. Start time 6am.
The position
• Reporting to the Divisional Manager of Spaar Spray Systems, the Labourers responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, prepping the job site, including setting up scaffolding, trimming, and scraping foam, and painting.
• This position is time sensitive so being punctual and reliable is essential.
• We are looking for a candidate that is ambitious, detail-oriented, friendly, is willing to learn and adaptable to changing environments.
• Must be a team player.
Key Accountabilities
• Experience in the residential or commercial construction field, preferably Loose Fill
• Maintain company vehicle and personal equipment (tools, respirators)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow directions
• General housekeeping and clean up
• Time management
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Follow safety program guidelines
• Ability to work independently
• Timeline driven
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions
• Outside/inside work
• Physically demanding position
• Other trades may be present
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs
• Ability to train team members if required
• Must be able to lift hoses, move ladders, and mix fill
Qualifications
• A valid Class 5 Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Residential and Commercial construction experience required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1+.00-$24.00 per hour
